The Yaesu VX-8R is a compact 50/144/222/430 MHz quad band FM HT. It has backlit DTMF keypad and amber alpha-numeric dot matrix LCD display. The radio is submersible (IPX7 rating) and features a built-in data TNC for APRS, built-in barometric pressure and temperature sensors, 900 memories, CTCSS tone encode/decode, true dual RX, extended RX (AM/FM-N/FM-W), multiple high speed scan modes, and more. Supplied with a rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack, plug-in wall charger, belt clip, wrist strap, and rubber duck antena.
