The Kenwood TS-480SAT is an HF/6m all mode transceiver with built-in automatic antenna tuner. The radio features a separate control panel for versatile installation. Other features include built-in PC interface, CTCSS tone encode/decode/scan, 16-bit double-precision DSP (automatic noise reduction, TX/RX equalizer, and slope tune AF filters), 100 memory channels, and more.

The radio is supplied with a hand microphone (8-pin modular) with up/down frequency controls, 4m separation cable, and a fused DC power cord.
